“ Very clean, pleasant staff. They have a variety of kosher items which is great if you have those dietary needs. Ordered a cake from their bakery and it was great. ”
“ A quick review based upon a quick Sunday morning stop. I have a cold and all I wanted was some hot matzo ball soup and I knew exactly where to get it, at Crown Market. I've lived in WH nearly all of my life and I think this may be the first time I've gone to "the Crown". Lucky for me some of my best yelp friends like Dan R., have already provided quite thorough reviews of all of the goodness that the Crown has to offer. I got there shortly after they opened and meandered about trying to find the soup but ended up asking one of the sweet deli guys "is it too early for matzo ball soup?" and he said "we ALWAYS have it, what would you like, a pint or a quart? Hot or cold?" He hooked me up with a quart for about $11 with two nice matzo balls in it. I ate that soup at 9am and it was awesome. This market is pretty awesome. The deli is HUGE, they make their own pizza and sushi. The shopping aisles have lots of interesting things and I even ended up picking up some Gardein "chicken" tenders from the freezer because my grocer keeps running out. I will be back...for sushi, sandwiches, SOUP! Closed on Saturdays, open every other day. Check 'em out. Nice people too!! ”
“ Good selection of prepared foods, baked goods, butcher, and groceries. I did think$33 a pound was a lot for brisket for Rosh Hashanah though. But who am I to say? This is the only Kosher market in a 40 mile radius, so all the power to them. Chopped chicken liver could've been chunkier but was good. Noodle kugel so sweet I couldn't eat it. Homemade gefilte fish hit the spot (and the wallet for 4.50 for one slice) Tsimmes also extremely sweet-- could've reduced the sugar by half. Challah excellent. Rugelach- they have two kinds- get the ones made with cream cheese- excellent. Store was the cleanest kosher market I have yet seen. Owner is a nice guy also. ”

“ Crown Market is a local treasure! Their deli counter and prepared foods are fresh, delicious, and taste like they came from your mom's kitchen! I LOVE their cucumber salad, macaroni salad, pickled beets, and veggie salads. Perfect sides for a bbq, or just a nibble if you don't feel like waiting until dinner. Their sushi is soooo great and fresh--literally made right in front of you! Their sushi with the cooked salmon is one of the best sushi's I've ever had! Their challah, mandel bread, and baked goods are always great! It's a fantastic local supermarket with everything made fresh, kosher, clean, friendly, and phenomenal service. I love how there you feel like part of the neighborhood/family and it's such a great place to support! ”

“ We stop by Crown Market whenever we pass through CT for my husband's job or on our way to NH to see my in-laws. This place is amazing! They have the best prepared foods and sandwiches - perfect for stocking up for a trip! We were on our way back to NY last week and were craving Crown Market's tuna wrap. The only problem was - the store closes at 7 and our GPS was showing that we wouldn't arrive until 7:30. So we decided to call to see if there was any chance they would still be open. They weren't. But one of the managers told us that she would be happy to stay a few extra minutes to make sure we got the wraps we were so craving. And once we got there, the staff went above and beyond! She made a few recommendations and we bonded on our love for lemon desserts (omg the lemon poppy muffins are to die for!) Thank you for your amazing customer service. You have made us loyal customers for life! ”
